Earlier in my career, I often wished for more support from people who truly understood the unique challenges I faced as an Asian woman. I wanted guidance that was tailored to my experiences and could help me grow as a leader aligned to my culture and identity. But back then, career coaching was not widely accessible to junior employees. It’s why I am passionate now about creating a career coaching forum for Asian women — a safe and inclusive space where more Asian women at all levels can access the support and advice they need to thrive.
As part of the Asian Women Empowerment Network I hosted a FREE Career Coaching AMA workshop on Saturday, Aug 31, 2024 for Asian women. The event was well-attended by over 10 Asian women. We had a lively discussion on the crowd-voted topic of "Visibility and Promotion".
